11. Buckethead

Buckethead

Experimental Rock

Brian Patrick Carroll, better known under the pseudonym Buckethead, a virtuoso guitar player and an American musician. One of the most productive musicians in the world. He has more than 40 studio albums, more than 50 releases. He recorded with many musicians in very different styles. Very noteworthy is the image of a rock performer – on his head a bucket of chicken from a fast food KFC, with the inscription Funeral (funeral). The face is hidden by a white theatrical mask. In his speech, he not only plays the guitar but also shows receptions with nunchaku, performs robot dance and gives his listeners toys, directly from the stage. To the extraordinary image is attached a “legend” that he was brought up by hens, and therefore his mission is “to warn people about the continuous chicken holocaust in fast foods around the world.” All his oddities are overlapped by his skill. In addition to guitar, Brian plays bass, ukulele, piano, synthesizer, mandolin, banjo, violin – all these tools for Carroll are “entertainment”. Also, I remember the soundtrack to the film – Mortal Combat 2.

12. John 5

John 5

Shock Rock

Guitarist virtuoso John William Lowry has his own project – John 5. This at one time and his pseudonym, and the name of his collective. When he played with Merlin Manson, with the light hand of Manson, he got this nickname and in all of his next bands, he played already under that name. And there were a lot of them: Garbage, Ozzy Osbourne, Slash, Avril Lavigne, Rob Helford and many others. John collaborates with guitar brands, released several names of models of his guitars. The most interesting thing in his work is an unusual mix of bluegrass, country, rock and all this can be present in one song!

13. Messer Chups

Messer Chups

Surf rock

The musical group of Oleg Fomchenkov, which he founded in 1998. In total there were eleven albums, on a label “Solnze Records”. Under the license agreement came out in the States, Germany, and Australia. Also, a great number of tracks appeared on various collections all over the world. From the very beginning, the group was a duet of Fomchenkov and the German woman Annette Schneider; Oleg played the guitar, Temenos and mixed, and Annette played the synthesizer. Later the composition of the group changed, the participants came to play for a while, but the foundation was always the same. They stick to the direction of surf and rockabilly, having a unique sound that can not be confused with anyone. Their music carries, as if in some kind of horror, or the film of David Lynch with an incomprehensible and mystical atmosphere. They also recorded a couple of movie soundtracks. The most interesting thing is that abroad.

14. The Rolling Stones

The Rolling Stones

Psychedelic rock

Previously, R’n’B was associated with the name Rolling Stones, but before R’n’B, it was a reduction in rhythm and blues, and not what it was now. Over the years, their music progressed, changed and became a rock classic. In their experiments, they started with reggae and finished disco, but always had their own unique sound. Since 1962 the composition of the group has never changed and the “rolling stones” continue to amaze the audience with their music and charisma, despite the already advanced age. Vocalist Mick Jagger, guitarist Keith Richards, and drummer Charlie Watts – that’s the composition of the cult band. Their name is associated with a period when, after the Beatles, a series of groups with a more rich and complex sound began to appear, the brightest among them was the “Rolling Stones”. Trio, more than once sentenced to imprisonment because of possession of drugs, but they always got away with it.

15. Queen

Queen

Pop rock

Back in 1968, two fellow students – Tim Staffell and Bryan May, organized a group. They took Roger Taylor, who later became a drummer. The newly formed band took the name “Smile” (in translation – a smile), and actively started recording albums. At that time, Staffel introduces his classmate Freddie Mercury to the group’s creativity. He became their passionate fan. But the band did not last long – Staffel left her. Then Freddie left his band and came to their collective. Further history is known to all – a group of Queen appeared, which became a cult and the object of adoration of adolescents. It lasted long enough and could continue to exist, but Mercury’s death stopped the procession of the group around the world. The band members tried to revive the former band, but without Freddie, it was not like that.
