How to make pizza at home?

Pizza is an ideal snack. It tastes incredibly great and even better, you can eat it at any time of the day and it will still taste delicious. Be it breakfast, brunch, dinner or tea – pizza is perfect.

Although pizza normally doesn’t come cheap, it’s worth each and every penny. Interestingly, you don’t have spent too much to have this tasty snack in the comfort of your home.

How to make pizza?

To make pizza, you only need a handful of ingredients;

1 pound pizza dough

1 cup sauce: white sauce, tomato sauce,  or any other spread you desire

2 cups toppings: Green pepper, onions, mushrooms, cooked sausage, pepperoni, cooked bacon, peppers, or any favorite toppings of yours

2  cups cheese, sliced or shredded: mozzarella or any desired cornmeal or flour

Once you’ve got all your ingredients, take the following steps to make yourself a yummy slice of pizza.

  1. Preheat the oven

Heat oven at first to 550°F or higher. Don’t be afraid to really turn up the heat to its highest setting. The high heat will help make a crunchy, flavor-filled crust. Ensure that the oven heats up for at least half an hour before starting out to bake your pizzas. If you have a baking stone, place it in the

lower-middle of your oven.

  1. Slice toppings

While the oven is getting heated, chop the all your favorite toppings into thin slices and set them aside.

  1. Roll out the dough

Flour the smooth working surface with cornflour and flatten the dough with your hand till you get a thin disc. Brush a thin film of olive oil on the baking sheet. Divide the dough into two parts, work with one piece of the dough, form it into a large disk with your hands and lay it on the oiled baking sheet. Flatten out the dough using your hands until it is a quarter-inch thick or less. If the dough starts to shrink back, let it sit for five minutes and then continue rolling.

  1. Top the pizza

Add little tablespoons of sauce towards the center of the pizza while using the back side of the spoon to spread the sauce to its edges. Add later all your favorite toppings and cheese.

If you are opting soft cheese, make sure to break cheeses into smaller pieces so that it can melt easily.  For hard cheese, ensure to use a grater.

  1. Bake the pizza

Baking in a heated oven at around 550°F or Higher for 10-15 minutes till crust is caramelized and the cheese dissolves on top giving a toasty look.

  1. Slice and serve

Here’s the part we’ve been sitting tight for. Give the pizza a chance to cool it slightly, preferably on a rack, until you’re good to handle. Cut that into small or large pieces as pre-requirement and serve.
